Monthly Maintenance
The foundations of a healthy landscape include keeping it weed free, the shrubs trimmed, and the mulch and edges are kept neat, and that's exactly what our Monthly Maintenance provides. Our team visits once a month to remove unsightly weeds, prune shrubs and small trees at the correct time of year, tidy up edges and mulch, and monitor for any emerging pest or disease problems.
Mulching
Sprucing up your mulch beds adds color as well as important organic matter to your landscape. Our standard mulch of choice is shredded hardwood however we can use any mulch that you prefer or have in your landscape, including cedar, bark fines, pine bark, and colored mulch. We also offer mulch prep, which includes weeding and edging beds and putting down a pre emergent weed control to prevent new weeds from appearing.
Tree and Shrub Fertilization
We use high quality products that provide valuable nutrients and improve soil conditions to allow your plants to thrive through this season and beyond.
Pruning
Shrubs and trees require proper pruning in order to keep them healthy. Our team is knowledgable in different pruning techniques and plant identification and we take different approaches to each different plant in order to keep them healthy throughout the season
Dormant Pruning
Often times, it is best to perform structural pruning of trees in the winter, when the tree is dormant. Pruning in the winter allows our technicians to better see the structure of the tree and select which branches to cut. It also reduces the pressure from insects and pests on the pruning cuts.
